I now have the 10th anniversary reissue 3LP hanging in my studio, right next to the door where I see it every time I enter and leave my studio. A constant reminder of my photography roots.

Jimmy Eat World. A Praise Chorus.
It was August of 2005 and I was driving home from a job (and career) that would have inevitably lead to a dead end had I stayed the course. Thank God for Jimmy Eat World and the song "A Praise Chorus". As I sat in Atlanta traffic, a song I had listed to before but had never really heard came across the FM airwaves. What I heard was loud and clear. Lines like "Are you gonna live your life wonderin' standing in the back lookin' around?" and "even at 25, you gotta start sometime." It was at this exact moment that I decided to take a chance. To take control of my life. To go back to grad school to study photography. It is this song that has brought me to a career that I am so passionate about. This song connected me with photography, brought me to New York, brought me to everything. To my life. Thank you God…a Praise chorus indeed.
